Removing Kitchen Walls in 1980's Apartment - Plan Attached, Are They Structural?

Afternoon all,

I'm renovating my second floor (of three floors), two bedroom apartment in Westmead and I would like to remove two walls enclosing the kitchen.

The apartment block was built in the early 1980 and a section from the plans held at council are attached with the walls I would like to remove marked in red.

The walls to be removed are single brick. Your help is appreciated on whether:

a) the walls are structural; and

b) they can be removed and replaced with appropriate lintels (with an estimate of what size lintels those may be).

I had engaged an engineer previously who inspected the building (however the attached plans were not available at that date).

His advice was that a 1.5m stub of wall had to remain for the wall separating the kitchen and living room, and that only a window could be created in the wall separating the kitchen from the hallway. These restrictions would mean that the renovations wouldn't be worthwhile so I'm trying to obtain a second opinion to determine if the attached plans would make a difference.
