Love that Sri Lankan support mob too!! very colourful and enthusiastic, and there seems to be a lot of happy banter
with the Ausie supporters.

I went on day one and had a thoroughly good time, plenty of action. And yes, the sportsmanship didn't go unnoticed. A few yobs around but they were relatively harmless.
Having spent at least 2 months of every year for the last 7 years doing volunteer work in Sri Lanka, and taking teams too to do work. We take them on sight seeing trips on weekends as well. One of them was to Sigeria and on the way back our driver asked if we would like to see the Dumbula International cricket ground (the poms had played there the day before).Quote:

After duly doing the tourist thing with cameras, funny poses, etc, we left, thanked our guard and went on our way.
Curiosity was killing me as I asked our driver how he got us in. Turns out we were the parents of the Australian cricket team coming to check out the venue:rolleyes:........they are absolutely cricket mad in Sri Lanka:D
