hey all its taken 6 long months but i now have my extension plans! its a skillion roof job and in the rafter specs it says 190x35 lvl's to be birdsmouthed and my mate who was a chippy tells me that you only have to birdsmouth the rafter on the lower end top plate? is this the norm? the roof is a 3.8m span and will have 5 deg pitch (aprox) or i think about 400mm over the span if that makes any sense:C
