What size self tapper for a 1/4 inch hole

Doing some work on the rusted old Ford ute. I need to put some self tappers into an old hole, which I just drilled out 1/4inch. What gauge size of self tapper goes into a 1/4inch hole?
PITA but I only need 6 of them, I did have something usable but they fell down the black-hole in the back of the shed and got lost
