G'day folks...
Well, G'day (again). https://www.woodworkforums.com/images/icons/icon6.png
I am here because I was trawling for advice on something to do with the renovation that my wife (mostly) and I are busy with on our home, and, as often happens, got sidetracked into this forum! Why did I stay? Because I enjoy working with my hands, whenever I get the chance, and working with wood is one of my favourite things to do with my hands. Not that I have had much of a chance to do that over the quarter century separating me from my school years, but now I am a bit settled and have unpacked a few of my tools, I might be getting the opportunity more often.
I'm a member of another forum focussing on Delicas (a Mitsubishi 4WD van - grey import) and have found that to be a very enjoyable and valuable resource, so, being always ready to listen, I look forward to a similar experience here (and over at the sister "Renovate Forum").
Cheers!

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum mick.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for the most, very willing to assist.
Make sure you should off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers, crowie

Welcome to the forum. Have you finished your current renovation?

G'day All,
Thanks.
Christos - Ha - that renovation is going to be going on for a while. But we (my wife mostly) have got a fair bit done - main house rooms all painted (ceiling, walls, trims), carpets up and a bloke coming to sand and "treat" the floorboards. Before that happens I have to get into the sub-floor and fix 3 or 4 sagging joists. There's more to do after that, but we will be away for a couple of months so that's the first phase. It's very much a case of steady-steady, low budget, do as much ourselves as we can.
Crowie - No worries, I'll do so. Don't hold your breath though, I'm busy with lots of other stuff. :-
Cheers,
Mick
