Mate, you're in Timboon, you've got the Great Ocean Road, Twelve Apostles and the Otways within cooee :D...BTW is Timboon ice-cream as good as I've heard? We have to go to Port Fairy for a wedding in a couple of weeks and I was planning a detour to Port Campbell to sample some, in a large way (cos if there's anything better than pancakes)...
Cheers,
Rus.
Oh,yeah, I've also been sharpening my harpoon for those whales in Warrnambool. There's a rogue white bull I've a score to settle with...
We are also handy to the lakes and craters country too but you can't tell me that all the spectacular stuff is near Timboon!
The icecream's ok.
The whales have left , won't see them again till next calving season (around June)
Curse ye, Moby Dick! From Hell's hot heart I spit at thee...
Cool. I won't kill myself getting to the ice cream bar, then.
Later,
Rus.

Gippsland Lakes, the view of Lakes Entrance (below) as you enter from Melbourne side, any of the rivers between Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance.
The trip to Omeo from Bairnsdale, Omeo, Falls Creek in the summer/Autumn, Kiewa Valley, Beechworth and the list goes on.
The Black Spur with all those wonderful tall trees - just watch out for the motorbikes.
Sounds very interesting, but who or where does night time boat trips?Quote:

I can visualise this as a 30feet diameter photo a couple of feet wide. Trouble is I reckon it will cost about a grand just for ink and paper. So its a matter of get it perfect first time up.
