'Possessed' Auto Roller Door

Hi All,

Recently my automatic roller door has been playing up. Hit the button or remote to go down and at random times/heights it will stop and go back up. Sometimes 300mm from the top, 50mm from the bottom or mid way. The only way to get it down is to help push it down all the way.

I've cleaned and Mr Sheened the tracks and lubed the chain and roller door, which fixed it for a day or so, but now it's back to it's old ways!


It's a Dominator brand, around 6-7 years old (must be superseded, not not on their website). On the side is a tiny push button and a list below it with led lights.

The led is currently lit up on 'Power On'


Any ideas or advice beore I start pushing buttons?
