First time renovator...

Hi


I have a californian bungalow that I am looking to extend. It has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and I want to extend it out into the garden with a open plan kitchen, and also potentially build up a second level.


I have not done this before and am not really sure how best to approach this.


Can anyone recommend me the best way to kick this off? I do not really know any building companies / architects etc. I saw this site below and it sounds like a service that would help me - is there a company that offers such a service in Sydney?
