Cheapest window material

Not sure if this should be under roofing but ... These are the windows on my shed. They're just some sort of reinforced plastic sheet that has deteriorated to the point on uselessness. They still let in the light but also the rain. As it's a rented place, I'm looking for the cheapest way to put up a waterproof, transparent covering. SO far, Laserlite seems to be the cheapest. Suggestions please. Height of the window is (about)800mmm no ladder available at the moment. Length is 9 metres .
