Hello from Canberra

I failed woodwork at school!! I was hoping I could find a talented woodworker in my local area that would be interested in making me a new plinth for my Thorens turntable? Not a difficult job but as I said I wouldn't know where to start. I was hoping I could have it made from Silky Oak or some other exotic solid timber. Can anyone suggest somebody in the Canberra area that might be interested in such a job?

Hi Welcome, unfortunately not all members read this section of the forum you would be better off putting another post up in the Woodworking general section of the forum You will have a much better chance of success. Good luck.:2tsup:

welcome to the form. you might get this partly done by someone on the forum and finish this off your self. Just another skill to learn.
