Hi WW,
Loved reading all of that, but having a very basic Education, I had a bit of trouble Understanding it all, but what the heck, it sounded good.
Might write one of those myself, & put it on My work at Our Annual Wood Show, in late Oct. as that wood cause a Cackle.
That was a bit slack I thought.
No mention of transcending the ethereal to the real to gain an inner peace given off by the Zen that the article projects into the subconscious so that pathos becomes joy.:D
It really does sound like bollocks. WW is right - don't be tempted into adding some inane drivel to what might actually mean something.
In the words of Mr Wizard speaking to Tudor Turtle:
Tudor my boy, be what you is, not what you is not.
Folks what do dis is the happiest lot.
Cheers

PS Oops, I think I am taking this too seriously:doh:
Actually, Mark Twain wrote:
Quote:
Write without pay until somebody offers pay. If nobody offers within three years, the candidate may look upon this circumstance with the most implicit confidence as the sign that sawing wood is what he was intended for.
Good, but can't hold a candle to the complaint generator: https://www.woodworkforums.com/f17/complaint-52227/
