cockie poo

How do you remove the marks from years of cockie poo on unfinished timber? I am restoring an old wardrobe and the drawer has quite a few marks.

I was over-thinking it. Warm water and a rag worked well.

My Dad used to just put a couple of thick coats of white paint over 'em, worked every time :rolleyes:
