Well it appears that no one wanted to try yesterdays quiz so maybe this one will be a little easier.
A fellow wrote asking the following question;
I've been trying to glue small pieces of wood, and they always slide out of position as I try to clamp them.
How can I make them stay put?

Tell him to put the clagg :eek: he is using into the porredge mix and buy some decent glue. :D :D :D
Or he could use some stops nailed to some scrap board to help him keep them together whilst clamping.

Coat both surfaces with glue and rub them together. This creates a suction that holds the two bits tightly together. You wont even need clamps.

Silent C, you are the closest to what was recommended to him.
It was requested that he only use a dab of glue and rub it a little with a finger and then when placed on the work surface, to slide it a little and bring it back to where was supposed to be located. As this would remove any air under the small piece and the work surface. A clamp might not even be needed. Or lay something of weight on top to hold it in place for about ten minutes.
