Lots of opinions about the best finish for pens, but a good job with CA and BLO is my pick.
Welcome to the forum. As suggested have a look in the pen turning interest group for lots of info. Personally I use shellawax finish and enjoy the patina that develops with use although I respect those that like the shiny and durable CA finish. :2tsup::2tsup:
