Polycarbonate calculation

I think I have the right calculation but want to confirm prior to buying all the materials. I am just replacing the polycarbonate on the existing verandah frame. It is 1000mm long and 3000mm wide. The polycarbonatecomes in 1800mm, 2400mm and 3000mm. They are 800mm wide. If I get a 3000mm and a 1800mm and cut them into lengths of 1000mm that gives me four pieces. When screwed on the overlap of the polycarbonate will be 50mm on each side. So the width area of the polycarbonate is 700mm. 3000mm (width of verandah)/700mm = 4.2 sheets. But as I will be using flashing on both sides I think I will be able to get away with buying a 3000mm and 1800mm sheets and having four sheets in total.

Is the above calculation correct?
