I have found plenty of references to using 2 part bleach but after Googling and looking in the local hardware stores I have not been able to find any .
Hoping somebody here has bought some recently and can help out.
Cheers

A two part bleach is sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide.
Sodium hydroxide is also known as caustic soda or drain cleaner - about $5 for a half kilo at your local supermarket. The hydrogen peroxide will need to be about 30-35%, and you should be able to find it (expensively - $20 for a litre - it cures cancer, don'tcha' know) at a health food shop, or (cheaper) at a pool and spa shop. I don't think the 3-6% stuff at the local chemist will work.
Note that good splash/hand/eye protection is needed when working with these chemicals! You will know about it if you get them on anything! (sodium hydroxide will corrode glass).
There's not much sodium hydroxide doesnt corrode... we use it for refining lead!
