building a mezzanine level in the shed
I have a large 12m x 12m metal shed and want to build a small granny flat for the father-in-law to stay in but dont want to loose any of my precious space so wanted to make the roof of his flat strong enough to allow a set of stairs leading up top and allowing me to still store some stuff up top
As the shed has no termite barrier I was going to utilise metal studs and have scored a large quantity from a builder that was doing an office demolition next door to work.
I am not sure how to do the roof of the flat to ensure that me and the stored stuff doesnt come crashing down on the father-in-law, any advice would be greateful.
I have done up a bit of a plan of what I intent to do and will take pics of the shed itself next time I am out at the shed as it on my acreage property and I only head there a couple of times a month.
