Blinks

Does anyone have any knowledge of this software or computer setup titled Blinks.
It appears from the short snatch I caught of a news item this term Blinks is a system to be input to a personal computer that operates like SEARCH but is more sophisticated. It memorises every word you input into a computer and you can then recall the item using this search program.

Never heard of it. It's not a key logger is it? You know, something that a nasty person might want to plant on your PC?

The news item referred that Google was about to launch a similar product in around 2 months. So it shouldn't be nasty (I hope).
The vibes I picked up was that it was for internal PC use as a new type fileing system.
