Outdoor furniture help

hi everyone

I have some outdoor furniture that is partially weathered - I washed it with napisan and high pressure cleaner and plan to give it a new coat of oil with spa n deck.

Does the old oil need to be 100% stripped from the furniture before applying the spa n deck?

At the moment I have only been able to remove some of the old oil. See photos.

Any help appreciated :2tsup: Perhaps I need to use something stronger in terms of stripping the old oil?
