Best Cladding for high pitched wall?

G'day,

A newbie... I'm renoing my house which is has a 15 metre roofline (due to multi levels on steep block) and need to replace all of the wall cladding as its termite damaged!!! I've been quoted $11k just for the scaffold and because of this I cant afford to use wood again, due to painting every couple of yearsas I'm within 0.5k's of the coast. Any suggestions for a low maintenace cladding systems that looks great and doesn't cost a fortune.

It must be able to be stuck direct to studs not and overlay product as I have to remove original cladding beacuse of damage.
