Can you paint vertical Blinds

http://www.renovateforum.com/images/.../separator.gifHi was just wondering if anyone out there knows if it is possible to paint or change the color of vertical blinds as it is so expensive to replace them thanks for any help this is the first time I have ever posted anything to a forum before any help would be appreciated
