Structural Floor
Ok this one is a little different and I cant seem to get a straight answer my structural engineer says its possible but the carpenter says no way but a framing company said it may be possible
Basically we have limited backyoard space and want to build our house right up to our pool obviously the issue we have is by doing that we would be putting side load on the pool - plus the house is on stumps. So the structural guy has said it can be done with beams to transfer the load back from the puter wall to the stumps further in but the framing company have suggested using supports from the base of the stumps upto the outer wall.
Has anyone tried this before?
I have attached my quick version of the framing compnaies idea
