Clinton1 is back

Hey all,

After a fairly long period of mostly inactive or complete absence... I am back.

It has been a fairly "interesting" (in the sense of the chinese curse) 2 or 3 years... but for better or worse, I just may have a reliable internet connection, am working on the reliable computer thingie... and you may see me around a little more.

I am fairly lost with all the changes and the massive growth of the forum (why wasn't I consulted about the changes? oh, thats right, I feel I belong but I don't own or moderate or contribute much of any worth, or anything :-)

I look forward to renewing aquaintances, making new ones and generally annoying people with questions that I can not easily find answers to. Occasionally I may contribute something of worth.

Bought a set of plans for a Storer Goat Island Skiff the other day... so I may be talking about that.

Watson - thanks, the advice on the "third eye" worked... quite a few times. If I wasn't in Sydney I'd be meeting up with you with a bottle of scotch and a hand outstretched. Wanted to make that public, albiet cryptic... :D

seems things have not changed so much after all. :)

Where was I?
I lived in East Timore doing what was meant to be a 'skills transferral/technical training" program for their military.... which turned into something rather different. It was very cool... but rather.... difficult. Came back older, wiser, slightly nuts, and probably a far, far better person. its all good.
