Removing Load Bearing wall

I need to remove a load bearing wall for my bathroom renovation

and the current beam wasnt designed to span 3.6 meters
as there is currently a support every 1.8
i need to remove one of the supports and was told that a 60x240 beam would be the correct beam to span the 3.6 meter
