There's a major flaw in his adjustment on most machines, he does not check if the bed rollers are close as possible to the height of the bed and coplanar with the bed first!

If you want to watch a proper adjustment process do a search on google video for "Planer Knife Setting with Bob Vaughan" its an older video but its probably the best on the internet, goes for 55min's!
