Hi All

Stumbled across the site and whammo I'm in heaven. I have only recently taken up the hobby of furniture restoration, however I have had an avid interest in woodwork since I was very young...watching my Dad construct some lovely pieces. As I am a noob, I am realising that I require knowledge in the different eras of furniture and the stains and finishes I should use to fully restore a vintage (or antique if I ever manage) piece.

Anyway, that's about it. I look forward to learning and sharing with all of you.

Great place for knowledge and advice this, as well as making the odd friend or three. Munruben happens to be an odd friend of mine.:rolleyes::D:p

LOL, I have managed to restrain myself, however once the Christmas hangover is over I might meander over and have a sticky beak. :rolleyes:
