is there such a thing as caesarstone veneer?

Well the title says it all.
I was told by a friend of mine that you can now find particle board, chipboard, etc... with 5mm caesarstone making the product lighter and above all cheaper.
However I can not find anything on the net.
Has anybody heard about it? if so, where ?
