Hello to all!
I joined as soon as I came across this forum. I am enjoying browsing the threads about woodworking. I am from Miami, Fl USA.:D
If anybody has info on Pink Ivory I would be very interested in learning more about it. Some one recommended boiling it in wax to saturate it and I have never heard of that before.
Thanks for the help.
Regards,
Fred

G'day Pellalito and welcome to the show.:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:
Good t have you here.
There is plenty of Pink Ivor available in the States from what I've seen. Never heard of boiling it in wax. I know it it fairly hard.
Lovely place Miami. Spent a few visits there. Lke the South Beach area with all that Art Deco architecture.

Artme,
Thanks for the kind welcome!
I have been doing a lot of searches and have not gotten a clear idea of what the best finish would be. I want something that will keep the wood from changing color and seal it completely.
I have never been to Australia. I did get as close as Hawaii.
Thanks again for the welcome.
