Merbau Decking Laid on Pavers

Hi All,

I would like to add a deck to my house at ground level. I only have 90mm clearance and where I would like to deck we have existing pavers. I was thinking of laying the joists directly onto the pavers but unsure if this would be normal in this situation due to limited height clearence. I would assume I need to use treated pine (H4) and deck onto the joists.

Would anybody recommend this or have another option of doing this?
