Return air grill/box mounting

Hi all,

After some experience on the methods used to mount a return air grill/box on ducted R/C. I have cut out for the grill, not sure of how to secure it to the ceiling and do not want to cause any difficulty fitting the box over it. Also I would think the box needs to be supported off the ceiling? I have no info supplied with the grill and have found nothing of use on google, please help experts or experienced persons :U
