G'day mate, from Sydney

hi my name is joe, as you may have guest from my user name! i am a qualified cement renderer, plasterer and bricklayer. focusing on mainly traditional work.
i also enjoy working with wood, mainly projects for myself. however with my work it is often i am doing repairs on existing houses inside so have to remove and replace the skirting's and architraves, so consider myself reasonable at carpentry.
i look forward to getting tips for my home projects and also offering advice in the areas that i specialize in. feel free to ask a question.

Welcome Joe. Hang on to all those bits and pieces of old architrave etc then you will have plenty of interesting material for the box-making sub forum. I imagine a lot of the stuff you strip out will be rubbish, but probably some interesting stuff there too.
