recommend a good builder for reno in melbourne's inner west

hi everyone

i'm currently looking at buying a house in melbourne's inner west. there is one in particular going for auction in a few weeks but it needs a fair bit of work. how much work? i'm not sure. probably new floors, plastering all rooms, new kitchen & bathroom. pretty much the works i guess.

what i want to know is can anyone recommend a good builder in or close to the inner west who would be able to come and take a look at this property and give me a rough quote so i know how much i can bid in the auction?

do builders generally give quotes on properties that you don't and might not ever own?

hoping someone can point me in the right direction and give me a good tip. i had a look in the yellow pages but they don't have ratings on there unfortunately (might be a good idea though!)
