Plastering advise

Hi all

I am planning to put a new fence in. Fence construction will be wooden frame & blue board.
I can't afford to have a skilled plasterer render the blue board so I am looking at other DIY options. I have seen DIY paint/render products? would these be easy to use and give an OK finish. Or can I use any other FC sheet with maybe a smooth finish that I can just join (weatherproof joins?) then paint. I am not fussed on the surface finish - smooth or rendered.

Any suggestions?
