New Man Hole - Ceiling Structural Integrity?

I currently have the walls/ceilings off some rooms in my house and thought it'd be a great time to put in a new man hole as the existing one is very small. I can not make the existing hole bigger due to it being in an asbestos ceiling.

The room I want to put the new manhole in has good clearance above it and the position will be relatively out of sight.

My question is, I do not need to cut any beams for the new man hole, however I will need to cut some "stringers". My understanding is that these stringers have an important structural purpose and by cutting them it will affect the integrity of the ceiling. So I'm wondering what I can do to correct that issue.
