Hi all
Well after many years of agonizing as what to do when I reached my use by date as a brickie, we, as in the missus and me, have decided to become sellers of antiques, bric-a-brac, second-hand junk.
We have just bought a leasehold just north of Melbourne, so all things going well, we should be in business in about 4-6 weeks..
If anybody has any GOOD wooden items that they wish to sell on consignement, please get in touch with me via PM.

good to see you got out before you couldn't do anything at all (as a lot of blokes in the building game do). Does this mean that your secondhand section will have a collection of red setter trowels, buckets, pins, stringlines, cement mixer etc etc etc? I'm pretty much out of being a carpenter now (bad back and shoulder) but still can't part with the majority of my gear "just in case". I'm using some of it in my new calling as a cabinetmaker but all I've let go has been my Ramset gun (which never got a lot of use anyway) and a mate is buying my @%*&!! RAS, which has never paid for itself anyway (and we'll see how long he stays my mate after this :p ).
