PAR38 compact fluorescent floodlight

Hi Guys,

Has anyone used the newish PAR38 compact fluorescent floodlight bulbs? I'm putting in a new sensor floodlght this weekend (I'll get a qualified electrician to come wire it up of course!) , it will be pointing down the side of the house so I don't want to annoy the neighbours too much so was thinking a CF floodlight bulb might be the way to go.

Just wanting to know if they're fairly comparibly bright or should I just go for a normal flood bulb?
