How to fix 'gash' in plaster?

About a month ago I had a doorway filled in by a plasterer... he did a good job and had it nice and smooth ready for me to paint. Today i started painting and this happened when the roller went over! To me it looks likes the top coat has not bonded with the new plaster... is there an easy fix for this?
