Kitchen Tiling Procedure

Hi All,

We are thinking of renovating our whole kitchen including ripping up our old looking slate floor that runs from our main hall to our dining room into the kitchen and laundry.

We would like to know is it better to pull out the kitchen first then tile the floor or can we tile first while the old kitchen is in place. Is there any pros and cons with which ever way we go?

Any information is much appreciated.
