Custom made kitchens - What to look for !

I am in the process of ordering a kitchen and would like to know what to look for in a quality kitchen.
I am aware of the following to look for is there anything else that I should consider:
HMR board 16mm (green tinge chipboard)
Screwed construction
16mm solid backs
16mm solid drawer bases

Also which is better MDF HMR or chipboard HMR
