ready to grout - is it just sand &cement?

hi guys

just finished laying 30sqm of slate
BIG grout lines of 15mm.
Im going to do a gray grout but as the lines are so big, those little bags of colored grout you buy will end up costing me a packet.

Is it just sand & cement and then i can add some oxide color to it and maybe a splash of bondcrete?

if so, what type of sand? brickies sand?
white cement?
