Can you get power cords to fit through a small hole?
Like 4mm in diamter?
no
You can if you use a cordless one.
4mm is too small. For 240VAC, anyway.
With low voltage you can buy 3.5mm jack sockets, so you can simply plug in a power cord.
Of course, this depends on what sort of wattage you want it to handle... and that's the real limiting factor.
A couple of LEDs or a clock? No problems. A 120W sub-woofer or 12V power-supply for a caravan? Forget it. :)
Just a 15w lightbulb.
What do i need apart from 3.5mm jack sockets
Like if i want to connect a lightbulb to it.
I just used a extension lead they use on chandiliers.
I pull it a part and threaded through hole in the back of the cupboard.
this is what i would do.
take plug of lead poke lead threw attach plug problem solved.
the cords on my bedside lights would fit threw a 4 or 5mm hole.
