best way to transport 80 bricks in a 6x4 trailer??

i am hiring a 6x4 trailer to transport a clothes dryer and 80 bricks later in the week, what is the best way to transport the bricks in the trailer??
do i just lay the bricks there on the base or do they need to be covered and secured some how? if so what way is best?
