Shed final inspection, what do they check?

Hi all,

I have a bit of an issue here, the thing is that in the next few weeks I am going to have to organize a final inspection for a 6m x 6m shed that has been erected. I have also put in a 6000 litre water tank beside the shed.

All the plumbing from the gutters to the tank has been done, so the inspectors shouldn't have any issues with that.

Now the biggest issue I have is there is no storm water, I have it diverted into a large container at the moment, when it is near full I have just been using for the garden etc.

I'm guessing the inspector is not going to like the sight of this so what I was thinking is if I place a stormwater pipe from the tank overflow hidden into the ground and drain a sufficient amount of water from the tank. Would I get away with this?

Obviously this is just temporary and I will get it sorted properly within the next month or so. Work has just picked up the last few weeks and I just haven't had the time to do something about this.

I'm located in Victoria.

Any advice would be good.

Also is there anything else I should be worried about, shed is unpowered at the moment but I see no reason why that would matter.

What about bits and pieces do they check?
