Hi
I was wondering if somebody could help to point me in the right direction? I have just made a small kitchen table and the son wanted it finished in scandinavion oil which I put the first coat on yesterday and am just about to do the second coat, I am wondering if I could apply u-beaut eee and then give it a coat of tradional wax. Am I on the right track?
Thanking you in advance.
Paul

Absolutely, Paul.
Have a look at the Sofa table I made. Its in woodwork pics. That was finished in Scandinavian oil, then EEE, then Trad Wax. You get a really nice finish.

Stop! Wait!! Do NOT use EEE under the coat of oil!!!

EEE goes on after all the oil coats have been applied.

Good luck

Hi Paul,

The table I mentioned had the EEE treatment 24 hours after finishing with oil.
One thing I would recommend highly is the use of a Swansdown Mop for buffing after the addition of the wax. The finish you will achieve will be visibly superior to that done using a lambswool buff.

Rob

LGS-
Do you use the Swansdown Mop on the EEE or the Trad Wax or both??

I am building a hard wood table looking to use either Organo oil then wax or just wax - yet to decide which way to go

Hi Dave,
Sorry for the delay.
You need only use the mop on the Trad wax. Just a soft cotton cloth will do for the EEE. Though there's no reason why you shouldn't use it I guess.

Paul, how did the table come up?

Rob

Hi Rob
I have done the EEE and given it one coat of wax, I am now putting it together and then will give it another coat. I will post photos when it is finished.
Thanks for your help
