We are in the early stages of planning the 2009 Newcastle Expo 2009 and would like to hear from potential exhibitors for this great regional wood show.
We are planning the same format as last years show which is in conjunction with the Craft and Quilt fair. For our part of the show we would like to hear from woodworkers who would like to provide demos of their particular area of expertise, Timber suppliers, Hand tool makers, Equipment manufacturers and suppliers, and wood craft experts.
VERY competitive rates for a stand and last years exhibitors were very pleased with their sales and the interest in their products.
The other great benefit is that this Expo supports our charity "the Kids Club " at the John Hunter Hospital. Woodturners of the Hunter have donated almost $450,000.00 to this cause over the last 12 years!!:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:

Are you sure you aren't related?

My forum name looks similar at a glance so thought I would aad to your thread.

I would be interesting to add a "non turning " to the Expo. We need a bit more competition for the quilters!

Hi Scally,
we not be related aaarrgghh!:pirate2: but I'm willing to discuss it over a couple of Rums if you insist!!
Should be some good gear this year at Expo 2009, and not all turning related.
Terry Gordon's planes, Felder "woowee:o!!" Benchworks, CompressX, Roger Gifkins and we are hoping to get Harold & Saxon chisels too.
All Fine Woodworking rather than woodturning so there will be something for all Woodies!!:U

Any suggestions as to who you would like to see at Expo drop me a PM and we'll give them a shout.:2tsup:
