Came home from work today to a housefull of disgruntled "young-ns" as both the Foxtel boxes display "no signal being received".
did the usual reboot, to no avail.

Finally rang Foxtel 'service difficulties' customer service line, and after jumping through hoops, (IVR) and being told of all the wonderful things they can do, was advised that their service centre was busy and they could not take my call and I should check out their web site for updates , and the line was disconnected
Checked out the web site and was provided with the same phone number !!:~

Hey I had the same problem. Was mightily annoyed. Was on & off for quite a few minutes there.

Depending on who you do get on the phone, I've managed to get some additional credit put onto our account. I got an extra month of premium for only $50 because the installer came a week late! :-)

Cheers,
Af.

This happened in Sydney recently and Foxtel was out for 8hrs with Bigpond cable using Foxtel's system it means no net either. So how do you check the net then, the dumb aholes.

Ring them back and demand a credit for the total outage time I did from both :D its not much but they advertise 24/7 viewing and internet connection.

Pay TV wasn't my worry as I said if it goes down NO Cable internet.:~
If we get rid of Foxtel they have to reinstate the Cable Broadband service
