Many aspects of human sexuality are very puzzling. Take cilibacy.

This can be a choice in life, or a condition imposed by environmental
factors.

While attending a Marriage Encounter Weekend, Allan and Mrs Wallan listened to the instructor declare, "It is essential that husbands and
wives know the things that are important to each other,"

He addressed the men, "Can you each name and describe your wife's favourite flower?"

Allan reached over, touched his wife on the arm and gently whispered....
..."Self raising, isn't it?"

Thus began Allan's life of celibacy.

Yes, celibacy is an unusual state for some yet commonplace for others.

En route to an ecumenical council, it happened that a Rabbi and a Catholic Priest were sitting next to one another on the plane, and of course the conversation was mainly of an ecumenical and Godly nature.

As time went by there was a warming between these two persons, to the point where the Priest put to the Rabbi the following question: "Tell me Rabbi, in your faith it is not correct for you to eat pork, but I have often wondered if curiousity ever got the better of you and you decided to transgress and sample some?"

The Rabbi replied: "Well yes father, I must admit I have and it has troubled me many years"

But tell me Father - he continued - in your faith you are supposed to be celibate. Can you tell me if you have ever wondered what it may be like to be with a woman? Have you ever transgressed?

The priest manouvered uncomfortably in his seat and admitted that he too like the Rabbi had transgressed.

The Rabbi smiled, nodded, and replied "Beats the hell out of eating pork doesn't it":o

I forgot to say, "Forget me nots".
