Just wondering if any members are able to identify a bullet that may be from the Boer war or World war 1. If i post a pic - could anyone have a stab at identifying it. It was my grandads and he gave it to me years ago and i have just found it again.

I'd love to know the type (i have been told that it is a 50 cal..... whatever that means.

Thanks in advance:)
Gavin

Well, post it and we'll see. With no way to accurately measure it I'm hoping that it is so unique that the picture alone will do the job. Is it a cartridge or just the bullet?

.50 cal means 1/2" diameter.
