Although this question does not fall within the normal "finishing" considerations, I think it fits this form better than the others.

I am trying to locate an Australiana supplier of the type of product shown in the attached link.

Has anyone purchased similar in Australia?

I purchased some today approx A4 size @ $2.49 ea less 15% at Spotlight store. I got red, green & blue. I have used it before on my boxes, however I choose to stick it directly onto heavy card and cut it to a "snug tight" fit into the box. (no gluing necessary)

I rate the felt at good value for $$$$$$

Hope this helps you, Regards Sandman.

I was looking for something similar about 3 months ago to line the bottom of a drawer.

I got a roll of self adhering velveT ( or at least a look alike that was pretty close ) from Bunnings.

Cant remebr cost but from memory it wasnt that bad.

I love it!

This post has both alerted me to a great product, and then shown me where to get it from!

Excellent work guys. :D

I used some last year in a classical jewellery box purchased from my local craft store came up a treat and only cost $4 or $5.

I found the craft stores stock a range of colours and you can buy it in various widths and about 1M long.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Have to confess that I was a bit disappointed with the product ... it shrank after a while, pulling away from the corners of a jewellery box insert. Maybe I wasn't generous enough with the fit but it's something to keep in mind.
