I want to have a place on the net to act as a 'virtual meeting room'.
Basically I see it as a small forum... but "Forum" really is an incorrect word to use.... "virtual meeting room" doesn't cut it either as a good term, so I'll use "forum" till I come up with a better word.
I know that some State Govt's provide this kind of service to community groups, but usually the overall site is pretty poor, difficult to get into and navigate around..... and no-one uses them.
Ubeaut provides the best forum I've come across, but I shudder to think of the time, effort and money spent .... and I am very thankful Ubeaut is willing to bear this cost for my benefit!
Just a place to bring together people for a meeting, with the posts acting as both the "Minutes" of the meeting, and a way to 'brief' new attendee's.
A place to allow a meeting to happen independent of the time that people can actually get on the net, and a place to invite people from a wide range of contacts to get together to resolve problems and exchange info on common interests.
I think I can make the forum 'work'.... but need a place to host it without needing to pay a heap of cash to someone to make it 'work' technically.
Any ideas?
